HSP Visa Claims

Claims to your Health Spending Account:

Each claim you make with your Health Spending Account will reduce your available amount dollar for dollar.  For example, if you have used your $450 limit for orthopedic inserts and have an additional $100 expense, you may receive reimbursement for this $100 by claiming it through your Health Spending Account. That would reduce the amount available on your account by $100.

In most cases, your HSP visa card will be accepted at your dentist/orthodontist, a wellness centre for any medical expenses such as chiropractor or physiotherapy, but if you do need to submit a claim using your HSP visa account, A claim form can be found on the Canada Life Site by clicking on this link Health or Dental HSP Claim form

The plan reimburses 80% in most cases and you should always try to submit to the plan first what will be covered.

Group-Net-Plan-Members-E-Claims:

Through GroupNet, you can register to submit your claims online through member E-Claims.  To file an E-Claim follow the 6 easy steps outlined on Groupnet.

If you do not want to submit online, you will still be able to print a claim form through GroupNet.  Depending on your computer and the browser you are using, claim forms on Groupnet may already be populated with your information when you log in.

If you submit a paper form:

Be sure to check the box at top right of the form indicating whether you want any unpaid portion of your claim processed through your HSP -Visa Account (as long as you still have money available.).
