Getting the right help matters

About 1 in 6 Canadians said they needed mental healthcare last year, yet a third did not get adequate help.1 When you are not well, you need a special kind of support, and that is what Mental Health Navigator provides.

How Mental Health Navigator works:

  1. Call 1-877-419-2378 to start a case.
  2. One of our navigators (a qualified nurse) will be with you throughout your care, from your
initial visit to pair you with the right therapist, psychiatrist, or psychologist.
  3. Through an action plan, communication, and time, you will start feeling like yourself
    again.

NOTE:

  • Specific medical is only requested within the parameters that it is needed. Often, someone does not realize a treatment or diagnosis from years ago may have a significant impact on their medical situation today.  Medical records (Teledoc) collects for services, like an Expert Medical Opinion or Mental Health Navigator, are only used to obtain a full medical history that helps them to better understand the chronological order of events, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment.  Teladoc is committed to using reasonable efforts to collect, use, disclose and maintain only the minimum necessary personal information required to accomplish the purpose for which it was collected. Please note that a member has a right to decline answering questions and to deny authorization for the collection of information.  Best Dr’s then will explain to the expert reviewing the case that the information was not available.  Teledoc’s and Best Doctors privacy policies adhere to and are compliant with Canadian privacy laws.
